Students Ansley Hopton and Ben Teixeira finish up their lunch at Stetson East. They also had lunch with some students from NU.in Greece and shared their experiences with dining while abroad.
Snow is a normality for Boston winters, and this past week marked the first major snow fall of the Northeastern school semester. Snow lingered throughout campus, piling up on sidewalks and lightly decorating buildings as well. Many students frolicked around in the snow, taking an abundance of pictures.

Northeastern student Ashley Heacock prefers to study in the Snell Library, a big contrast to the library she studied in during her abroad experience in Greece. She finds that highlighting helps her focus while taking notes.

After the unexpected heatwave, many Bostonians wondered if January weather would return. To no surprise, temperatures dropped back down to the low 20’s a few days later. Many took advantage of the occasion and spent time outdoors for the very short lived period of warmth.

Downtown is quiet on Martin Luther King Jr. day as Bostonians enjoy their long weekend. The Cambridge area had little to no people exploring the area over the long weekend as the city seemed quite empty. Cold temperatures reappeared, a very big contrast from last week’s heatwave, encouraging some to stay in the comfort of indoors.

The beloved ISEC bridge had a frosty glaze after the snow storm this past week. Many students tried their best to not slosh in the slowly melting snow and avoided all ice patches. Above is the remains of the snow a few days later as it begins it melt.
